MOSAIC (moh-zay-ik) noun definition - Pertaining to the style of work formed by uniting pieces of different colors; tessellated; also, composed of diverse elements.
Our Credit Union was formed in 1986 through the merger of Wampler Longacre and Rockingham Poultry Credit Unions. The name was later changed to Mosaic to prevent having to change the name of the Credit Union when the companies were again sold. In 2001 the NCUA approved a community charter for Mosaic, whereby anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Harrisonburg may join the Credit Union. We also serve several Select Employee groups. For a more complete list, visit our site on "Who can join". As with our name, our membership is composed of many diverse elements.
